I figured that when I had kids I would never be fooled by them. That lasted three whole months until Addie pulled a fast one on me yesterday. Since we have started letting Addie cry to go to sleep we also try not to hold her for naps very often so that she will get used to sleeping in her bed. Yesterday I put her down for her afternoon nap and she only slept for an hour and a half, usually she sleep two and a half or three hours in the afternoon. I let her cry for a few minutes to see if she would go back to sleep and when she didn't stop crying I went in to check on her, she was acting very hungry so I decided to feed her. She ate like crazy for a couple minutes and then her eyes slowly started getting heavy, the next thing I knew she had only eaten an ounce and was fast asleep in my arms. That tricky little girl found a way to get me to hold her while she took a nap. She was so cute I couldn't resist and let her sleep in my arms but seriously, who gets fooled by a three month old, I felt a little stupid but I'll be ready for it next time!
=) Babies are cute tricksters. Try the plan from the book "Baby Sleep Solution" - then you won't feed her during naps and the problem will be solved =) but that is a sweet and cute story.
