V-day RSV Way
My parents always told me they made sacrifices for me and I always laughed and assumed my presence was the greatest gift to them. Anyways being a parent I'm starting to learn a little about this whole sacrifice thing. Trevin had made reservations for Valentines a few weeks beforehand (come to find out later was a nice restaurant up at Sundance). We were going to trade babysitting with some of our friends so that we could all have date nights. We babysat their 2 month old last Friday night for them and then they were going to babysit on Valentines for us. Well Addie started getting sick over the weekend and the day before Valentines we ended up going to the doctor to find out that Addie had RSV. Poor girl! She was going to be fine but very contagious...especially to a 2 month old. We decided to cancel our date for the next night to make sure our friends' little baby wouldn't get sick. We had Chilis takeout and watched TV. I was slightly disappointed because I love everything clique about Valentines including fancy romantic restaurants but I had a lot of blessings to count that day. Addie was healthy and my sweet husband thought of a back up plan. Here are some pictures of our little sicko on Valentines and a couple other pictures (Thanks for the Valentines shirt Grandma Robinson!)
Poor little baby. RSV is so yucky! Glad she's okay.
